May 11 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Tombstone Marshal’s Office and Empower Ability Consulting, Inc., in conjunction with Discover Tombstone, will host The First Annual Dog Days of Tombstone on May 11, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in historic Tombstone, Arizona. We are proud to partner with Helldorado. They are a tax-exempt, 501 (c)(3) organization.

Proceeds will support the Tombstone Marshal’s Office K9 Program, provide scholarships for disabled students in higher education, and fund next year’s event! We hope to make the Dog Days of Tombstone an annual event!

The 1-day event will highlight the amazing careers of working dogs, including service dogs, working Law Enforcement, and military K9s.

Free space will be available for Animal Rescue Organizations, Animal Shelters, and any organization that provides gratuitous services, supplies, or monies to support dog programs.

We will be featuring working dog demonstrations throughout the day, including the Tombstone Marshal’s Office Drug Detection Dogs, Fort Huachuca Military K9s Bite Dogs, Service Dog demonstrations, and Frisbee and Agility Dog demos. There will be live music and Food Vendors throughout the day, The Desert Irish Wolfhound Association is coming so you can meet and greet the Gentle Giants. Several rescues with adoptable dogs, a Pet Costume Contest, an entire parade down historic Allen Street, and many local merchants and attractions are offering discounts for attendees. We have a professional photographer offering photographs of you and your pet and some Old time photos with pets as well PLUS so much more.

We are looking for volunteers, sponsors, participants, and donations to be raffled off and added to the silent auction!
