It is held indoors at Schieffelin Hall\, Fremont St.\, Tombstone from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday\, March 13\, 2026.\nShowcasing authors and historical societies publishing works of Western and American Frontier history\,\nhistorical fiction\, novels of the West\, biography\, Native American\, youth and children’s books\, and Western\nromance.\nThe Cochise County Corral of the Westerners is sponsoring the Tombstone Festival of Western Books on Friday\, March 13\, 2026. The featured author is Anne Hillerman whose Leaphorn/Chee/Manuelito Navajo Police Mysteries are well known as is the Dark Winds. The festival is held the day before the Tucson Festival of Books drawing visitors from that source and with wide support of Tombstone merchants and attractions making it a good day to visit Tombstone

DESCRIPTION:Tombstone’s 18th Annual Wild West Days – March 13th\, 14th & 15th\, 2026. \nThis year we are celebrating America’s 250th birthday with special attention to the service of troops: past and present!\nTHE ROAD TO 250\nOn Friday\, Tombstone is proud to be a host stop for The Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum\, part of the America250AZ celebration.\nPARADE\nParade on Saturday begins at 11AM. Prizes will be given to those entries who show red\, white\, and blue or pay specific tribute to the Marines and Navy.\nSTREET ENTERTAINMENT\nThere will be entertainment on Allen Street from after the parade on Saturday until 2pm and Sunday from 10AM to 2PM.\nFIREARMS RAFFLE\nM1 Garand Rifle and Beretta 92 Pistol.\n(These firearms represent generations of marines who stood the line in defense of freedom for many wars since 1941.)\nTickets are $5 for 1 or $20 for 5.
